Apology!!!

I know, I know, I am supposed to keep this blog updated on a regular basis so that when you visit you have something new and interesting to read, but I do have a good excuse, and here it is, after my last post things got very hectic, refurbishing the studio, getting my marketing sorted and finally opening the studio on the 6th of March, naturally I have been concentrating on the studio and getting clients through  the door, which, I may say they have been hence my lack of posts, the studio has been surprisingly busy considering this is only the fourth week since opening, anyway, just to let you know I will do my best to keep you updated on things and bring you the latest news and views on all things photography related so keep popping back.

STUDIO OPENING DATE

Well, after nearly 3 weeks of hard work, grazed knuckles, aching limbs and very, very long days the date for the studio opening is now set, from 10am on Saturday the 6th of April the Raymond Redfern Photography Studio will be open for business offering a truly amazing photography experience on our modern state of the art studio. The studio address is  - 136 Butts Road, Southampton, SO19 1BJ. There is ample parking in front of the studio so why not come along and claim our opening offer available until the end of may... a free shoot and desk frame. We hope to see you there.

Were off....

And I'm not talking about the Cheltenham Cup... I got the keys to the new studio last Monday and since then I've been hard at it organising the builder, ordering materials and sample wall products, registering thingymibobs and all manner of other tasks that need to be done to get ready for the grand opening, so far so good, there have been no major issues but I'm sure that something untoward will crop up, but I'll deal with that when it happens. anyway my goal is be open in the week after Easter but keep an eye on the blog for the latest news.

New Studio Update Nr. ?

So excited... Just had an email from my legal person saying that the paperwork is ready to sign... Yipeee... Lots of work to do until the opening event but hard work never killed anyone (not quite sure about that one!) anyway, I'll keep you updated on the progress, off for a celebratory drink.....

New wheels

Preparation for the new studio is coming along, this includes a set of new wheels, after many years of cramming all my gear into our family car for weddings and location shoots I am now the proud owner of a sexy little black van.. now I need to clothe it with some stunning sign writing and I have my very own mobile advertising platform and load of room for the gear.

Well I finally managed to get into the the new studio to measure up for the re-fit. It's a lot bigger than I imagined now that its empty and I have a really good idea what the finished studio will look like (amazing!). Anyway here's the before photo....

New Studio Update

A belated happy new year to you all... fantastic news!! I'm due to sign the paperwork on the new studio   sometime in the middle of February (yippee!!!) then the real work starts, refurbishment, marketing, equipment purchase and blind panic all must be carried out before the grand opening, which, I hope will be the beginning of March.
If you would like an invite to the opening event and quaff a few glasses of bubbly drop me a mail and I'll send you an invite.
